UPDF Roadblock at Baralegi, Otuke

At Barlegi, Otuke we encountered a roadblock mounted by the UPDF. The place was home to Baralegi Primary School but is now home to a UPDF Batallion. It is also where President Museveni stays when he is in the locality. The displaced pupils now study in dilapidated structures with the majority studying under trees! We were told that the roadblock was set up due to orders from above. We told them that this was a public road and we had a right to pass through. Eventualy they let us through after some heated exchanges.
