Adrienne S. McCord is the Acting Strategic Director for DP Uganda President Norbert Mao and founder of Ethics Over Rules LLP. Previous to her work in the United States she worked as a researcher and private consultant for governments and organizations in the UK and Latin America.

Adrienne is a researcher and humanitarian with knowledge and training in foreign affairs, economic development, women’s rights, and the cultural and political issues of disaster recovery. Specifics include socio-cultural impact of unethical globalization, post-conflict reconstruction and engendered constitutional jurisprudence. Policy and research focus includes internally displaced persons and the historical results of international humanitarian aid.
An outspoken critic of unstructured donor driven aid programs she is a established advocate for organizations that empower vulnerable populations both in Central America and East Africa. Established member of Agape, Ethical Globalization Initiative, Peace and Collaborative Development Network and the Gender and Disaster Network, she regularly facilitates workshops for universities and community groups about appropriate engendered and culturally sensitive aid response and the policy of foreign aid dollars in development.
Adrienne holds degrees in International Political Economy, Global History and Anthropology and is the recipient of the Parliamentary Research Award for excellence in research. She currently holds membership and/or chairs in the Oxonion, The Children's Museum, Casa de Mujeres y Ninos, United Nations University, New York Society of Association Executives and the Project Management Institute.
