In this day and age, we have more power than ever, through the Web, to come together and let our voices be heard. We need to take a stand for truth. Encourage people to come to the website and let's spread the word.

 

Step 1: Get Connected

Facebook

• If you haven't already, set up your own Facebook account and connect with your friends.
• Connect with Team Mao on Norbert Mao's Facebook page.
• Once connected, add his page to your favorites, suggest his page to your friends, and even subscribe via SMS. (See links under photo)
• Take part in the online forum.
• Share your comments and encourage others

 

Twitter

• If you haven't already, set up your own Twitter account and connect with your friends (Click Find People at the top of the page). The more people you follow, the more will follow you.
• Connect with Team Mao on Norbert Mao's Twitter page.

 

Step 2: Spread the Word

Set Up a Blog

• Blogs are a great way to speak your mind and let your voice be heard. If you don't have one, you can set one up on Blogger.
• Each time you add an entry, email your friends and invite them to read and comment.
• Include links to our website if, say, commenting on a news article or spreading the word on Team Mao.

 

Add Buttons & Banners

• We have special Buttons & Banners you can add to your blog and attach to emails. Use them wherever you can to make sure you get noticed!
• Share them on Facebook, with a comment to your friends.

 

Display a Twitter Background

• Really send the message forward with Twitter Backgrounds. Download one of four designs and let your followers know you mean business!

 

SHARE Our Site

• When you share information with others, rather than just typing the details use the SHARE button in the top-right corner of every page (bottom-right if you're sharing the homepage). This will provide a link driving visitors to our site. The more we can get people to the website, the stronger front we'll have. Include links to the site whenever possible.
• When using Twitter, send links with Bit.ly. Here, you'll be able to shorten the addresses and, when you set up an account, you can track and see who's linking through them.
• Want to send messages and links to your Facebook friends and Twitter followers with just one click? Sign up for Tweetdeck and make the messaging easy!
• Add a link to www.NorbertMao.org in the signature of your email account. Let people know who you stand for with every message you send. You'll never know who will follow!

 

Hang Up Posters

• Even though the elections are over, displaying Mao's posters will reinstate the message of true leadership. Download, print and display Mao Posters of your own wherever you can.
